The McDonald Sportsmen’s Foundation invites our Local Service-Disabled Veterans and all other veterans for a day of camaraderie and outdoor heritage. This event is dedicated to those who have served, offering a upland hunting experience for Service-Disabled Veterans followed by a community picnic.

An Inclusive Hunting Experience

Pheasant Hunt

Experience the challenge and beauty of a guided pheasant hunt. We are dedicated to providing an accessible and inclusive environment; our fields and volunteers are prepared to accommodate various mobility needs. Registration preference is given to handicapped veterans. We will ensure that all who wish to reconnect with the sport have the support and equipment necessary to do so safely.

Tribute Picnic

Following the hunt, we will gather for a community picnic. Enjoy a spread of local favorites as we recognize the sacrifices made by our veteran community. This event is more than just a hunt; it is a gesture of gratitude. Hosted by the McDonald Sportsmen’s Foundation, and held on the grounds of McDonald Sportsmen’s Association it provides a space for veterans and supporters to connect, share stories, and enjoy the peace of the Pennsylvania outdoors. Participants can register for the Hunt, Picnic or Both.
